About This Design

Founded in 1883, The Steam-Powered Guillotine Company was one of the Guild of Anarchists' most ambitious engineering ventures.

Critics often asked a simple question.

"If gravity already works... why add steam?"

The company's engineers considered this dangerously small-minded thinking.

Their philosophy was straightforward: every machine could be improved with additional brass, more pressure gauges, several unnecessary gears, and at least one flywheel whose purpose remained classified.

The Model VII represented the pinnacle of Victorian overengineering. Precision-machined valves synchronized the blade's release to within fractions of a second while an intricate steam regulation system ensured every unnecessary moving part operated with impeccable efficiency.

The fact that none of these improvements made the machine objectively better was considered irrelevant.

Progress demanded innovation.

Even when innovation solved problems nobody had.

Original blueprints became highly sought after among collectors after the company mysteriously vanished in the late 1880s. Official records claim the business dissolved due to "financial irregularities."

Guild historians maintain the workshop simply became too successful and was quietly relocated to an undisclosed facility.

Today, surviving schematics remain prized examples of impossible engineering and a reminder that history's greatest inventors occasionally confused complexity with brilliance.
